PSD Viewer is a utility that allows you to view files in the PSD, AI or EPS formats, without having to install Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator on your computer.
PSD is a format to which files created in Photoshop can be saved and that supports several image modes (Bitmap, Duotone, Grayscale, RGB, Indexed Color, CMYK, Multichannel and Lab). AI is a file format specific to Adobe Illustrator files, developed for representing vector graphics. EPS is a graphics file format that is also specific to Adobe Illustrator. These three file formats can be viewed in PSD viewer, of course without the editing options given by the utilities they were created in. When it comes to opening a PSD file, it can be considered that the program responds rather slowly. The three file formats can be viewed and then converted to other file formats by simply saving them as BMP, PNG, JPG, GIF or TIFF. Only a few tools are included in the utility, respectively "resize", "zoom", "fit to display" and "rotate image" tools.
